My name is Elder! Well, at least it was... Now I am a dad, husband, student and employee. But at one time, about 3 years ago I was a missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Long name I know, but the story behind the restoration of this church is incredible. We will get to that later...
In the Church, which I will refer to it as for hand cramping reasons, young men and woman devote two years of their lives in devote serve. In the which they travel world wide in pairs of two preaching the restoration of the gospel, priesthood and other principles to the earth through a latter day Prophet. Sounds intense huh? Well it's the truth!
I was one of those thousands of missionaries to volunteer those two years of service to the Lord. After three intense weeks of waiting, I finally received my call to serve in Sao Paulo, Brasil! I was so excited, and thought it was going to be so cool to learn Spanish...course later I found out that they don't speak Spanish at all, but rather Portuguese!
